You will find us on the 3rd Floor of the Palia Building, which is located at 191 Nagdevi Street. This part of Mohammedali Road in Mumbai is always packed with people and vehicles. It is a very busy commercial hub. Getting up to the third floor takes a bit of effort when the street is crowded with deliveries and handcarts. We are not a massive corporate branch with marble floors. It is more of a functional office where the staff sits and works through the accounts. The building has been there for many years and has that typical Mumbai character. We deal with a lot of paperwork every single day. The noise from the street below never really stops, but you get used to it after a week or two of working here. We have our desks set up in a way that makes sense for the small space we have. It is not a huge area, but we make it work. Most of our day is spent looking at numbers and talking to people who drop by for their banking needs. We do not have fancy coffee machines; we usually just get chai from the guy downstairs. It is a very grounded way of working. We follow the rules and keep our records straight. Being in the heart of the city means we see all sorts of people. We just stay focused on the tasks at hand and try to finish everything.
