Rajinishguntuka

I am Rajinishguntuka and my setup is based out of Room Number 59 in B.D.D. Chawl Number 112 over in Worli. If you know Mumbai, you know the chawls have a very specific feel to them. It’s crowded and there is always something happening in the corridors. I’ve lived and worked around here for a long time. This isn’t a corporate office with glass walls or anything like that. It’s just a room where I get my work done and talk to people who need help with things. Sometimes the electricity acts up or the water timing means we have to pause, but that is just part of staying in Worli. My neighbors are all around, so it never gets quiet. I keep my tools and papers organized as much as I can in a small space. It's basically a one-man show most of the time. People find me by asking around the building because everyone knows everyone else in the B.D.D. area. I don't have a big sign outside. I just open up in the morning and see what the day brings. It’s a simple life. The work pays the bills and keeps me busy. If you are ever near the chawl, you’ll see the kids playing and the clothes drying, and my place is right there in the middle of it all. It’s just how things are for us here, living and working in the heart of the city without any fuss.
