You can find us at Shop No. 1 in the Kahishka Society on Dadiseth Road. Being in Malad West, it's always crowded and there’s always something happening outside the door. We sell plastic goods, everything from buckets to storage bins. The shop is small, so we have stuff hanging from the ceiling and piled up on the sidewalk during the day. We’ve been in this society for a good while. Most of the people living upstairs are our neighbors and customers. It’s a very local vibe. We don’t really do much in the way of marketing; the shop just sits there and people come in when they need a plastic stool or a new bin for their kitchen. It gets a bit chaotic during the festive seasons because the road gets even narrower with all the stalls. We have to move things in and out every day when we open and close. It's a lot of lifting. We aren't trying to be a big chain or anything. It's just a local shop where you can get what you need without much fuss. We know which items are sturdy and which ones aren't, and we'll tell you the truth about them. It’s just us running the place, keeping track of the stock and chatting with whoever walks in. The fan inside the shop makes a weird clicking sound, but it keeps us cool enough. We’re just here doing our thing every day.
