Our office is located in Gokul Orchid, specifically office number 105 A. This is on Old Padra Road in the Vile Parle East area. It’s a bit of a trek for some of us to get here, depending on the train or the traffic that day. The building itself is one of those typical commercial structures where you see a lot of different businesses. Our floor is usually busy with people moving in the hallways. Inside 105 A, it is mostly just us and our desks. We have some filing cabinets that are overflowing and a water dispenser that always seems to run out at the wrong time. The view from the window isn't much, just the street and other buildings, but it lets in some light during the day. We have a small area where we can sit and eat, though most of us just eat at our desks while reading through the morning papers. It’s a very practical space. We don't have any fancy art on the walls or expensive rugs. It’s just a place to work. Sometimes the elevator in Gokul Orchid is slow, so we take the stairs to get the blood moving. We spend a lot of time on the phones or typing away. The air conditioning works most of the time, which is a relief in this weather. It’s just a regular office life for us, doing what we need to do to keep things moving forward.
