Raj Computers

Raj Computers sits at 19 Jaffer Building on Dockyard Road in Mazgaon. It’s a very specific part of the city, right across from the Wibs Bakery. On some mornings, the whole street smells like fresh bread, which is a nice break from the smell of solder and old electronics. The building is one of those older structures that has seen better days, but it serves us well. We don’t have a flashy storefront. It’s just a place where we keep our tools and spare parts for the computers we work on. Being near the dockyard means there’s a lot of industrial activity nearby, and that reflects in the kind of honest, no-nonsense work we do. We don’t talk in corporate jargon. If your computer isn’t turning on, we look at the power supply or the board and tell you what’s up. It’s a small operation and we like it that way. The space is a bit tight, especially when we have three or four big towers open on the desks. We’ve been at this Dockyard Road location for a long time. People from the local offices and the docks know where to find us. We don’t have a grand vision or anything. We just want to make sure the machines are running so people can get their work done. It’s just a regular local shop in an old part of town.
