Raj Backelite

We are Raj Backelite, working out of our space in Kandivali East. It is a flat, number 16 in B Wing of Gagan CHS. It might seem a bit odd to have a business like this in a residential building, but it works for us. We are right on Poona Street in the Dana Bunder area. Being near Bonanza Industrial Estate helps since there is a lot of activity there. Most of our days are spent handling backelite parts and dealing with the small details of production. It gets busy, and the space can feel tight when we have a lot of stock. There is no big marketing team here. It is just a few of us making sure things get done right. The traffic outside can be a real pain during peak hours. You can hear the horns from the balcony. We’ve been here for quite a while now. We know the neighbors and the local tea stall guy quite well. It is a simple setup, nothing fancy or corporate. We don't have a big glossy brochure. We just answer the phone and do the work. The address is B Wing, Flat No 16, Gagan Chs, Kandivali East, Poona Street, Dana Bunder, Near Bonanza Industrial Estate. Sometimes the lift in the building is slow, so we take the stairs. That’s just how it goes here. We keep our heads down and stay busy.
