Rainbow Light House & Gift Articles

Rainbow Light House & Gift Articles is located in Shyam Bhavan in the Shantiniketan area. It’s a bit of a mix here because we handle lights and also have a lot of gift things. The shop is usually pretty bright because of all the lamps we have plugged in to show people how they look. It’s not a perfectly organized place, to be honest. There are wires sometimes and boxes stacked near the back, but it's how we manage things. We’ve been in this building for some time now. People come in when they are fixing up their homes or if they need a quick gift for a housewarming. We don't use any fancy sales talk. If a light works, it works. We just show people what we have and let them decide for themselves. Shantiniketan is a nice place to be, and we have gotten to know the other shopkeepers around Shyam Bhavan pretty well. We often share tea in the afternoons when things are slow. It’s a simple life running a shop like this. We aren't trying to be the biggest store around, just a reliable one where you can find a bulb or a nice bowl to give someone. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the front door during monsoon, so we have to move the stock around, but we get by. It’s just us doing our daily work and trying to stay busy.
