R T Star Solitaires

We've been at 35 Chowpaty Sea Face for a while now. Being up on the 5th floor of Dev Prakash gives us a decent view, though mostly we are looking at the stones on the table. Living and working in Mumbai means there’s always noise coming up from the street. It’s a busy part of town. R T Star Solitaires is just a few of us here. We spend our days checking the sparkle on different pieces and talking to people who come by. It’s not a huge showroom with fancy lights. It’s more of a workspace where we get things done. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up, but we’re used to it. Most people know us by the address rather than a big sign outside. We handle the solitaires carefully and try to keep things simple. Dealing with jewelry in this city is always an adventure. The traffic on Drnapurandare Marg can be a real headache in the evenings. We usually stay late to finish up our work before heading home. It's a small team, so we all do a bit of everything. From cleaning the glass to talking to the regulars, it’s all part of the job. We aren't trying to be the biggest place in Mumbai, just a reliable one where you know who you’re talking to when you walk in. That's pretty much us in a nutshell. We just focus on the task at hand and try to stay organized.
