R R Suvarna Company

Our spot is in Vile Parle East, specifically over in the Lakkasandra Extension. We are on Plot No 80 E in the Mulji Mistry Building. R R Suvarna Company is located here. If you are coming from the 7th Main, you will see us eventually. It’s a bit of a maze back here with all the different plots and buildings squeezed together. The building itself is older, with those thick walls and narrow stairs that you find in this part of Mumbai. Inside the office, it's pretty quiet most of the time compared to the street. We have a few desks and some cupboards full of old records. It’s not the kind of place that would win any design awards, but it serves its purpose. We keep the lights on and the door unlocked during the day. Sometimes a neighbor will pop in just to chat or ask for the time. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for a long while now. You can hear the trains if you listen closely, which is just part of the background noise here. Getting here can be a struggle during the monsoon when the roads get messy, but we still make it in. We don't have a huge staff, just a few of us who have been working together for years. We know where everything is kept even if it looks messy to an outsider. It’s just how we operate. We do what we have to do and don't make a big fuss about it.
