Our spot is over at 4 13 Bharmadev Yadav Chawl on Jajimata Marg. It is right in the Pumphouse area of Andheri East. If you know Mumbai, you know how crowded and lively Andheri can be. We are in a chawl, so it is a very grounded and local environment. There is always the sound of the city right outside our door—people talking, bikes honking, and the general bustle of the neighborhood. We have been here at number 59 for a while. Our workspace is quite small and filled with the things we need to keep things running. It is definitely not a corporate headquarters with glass walls. It is a place where we sit and handle whatever comes our way. The walls are a bit thin, so you hear the neighbors' radios and the daily life of the street. We usually get our snacks from the local stalls on Jajimata Marg. It is a practical place to be because everything is so close, even if it is a bit cramped. We have some old desks and a couple of computers that have seen better days. It is just a normal day-to-day existence here. We don't worry much about how the place looks as long as we can get the work done. The Pumphouse area has its own rhythm, and we are just one small part of it. It feels real and honest being here every day.
