Purple Creations

We are located inside Dreams Mall in Mandu, Mumbai. Purple Creations is just one of many shops in the mall, but we try to keep our little corner organized. Being in a mall is different from being on the street. It’s more climate-controlled, but you lose that connection to the sidewalk. We spend our days waiting for customers to walk through the doors or answering the phone. We do a lot of creative work here, mostly things that people need for gifts or for their homes. The mall can get really crowded on the weekends, which is when we are the busiest. During the weekdays, it’s much slower, so we use that time to restock and plan out our work. We don't have a big corporate office behind us. It’s just us here in the shop. We handle everything from the sales to the cleaning. Sometimes we forget to update our signs or move things around, but we try our best. It’s not always perfect, and sometimes we run out of certain items before we can get more. We don't use any scripts when we talk to people. We just talk like regular people because that’s who we are. It’s a small operation, and we are happy with how things are going so far. The mall lights stay on late, but we usually head out as soon as our shift is done. It's a long commute home, so we don't linger.
