Psyon Career Solutions is up on the third floor of Narayan Sadan. The building is at 144 A, right in the heart of Mumbai. It’s one of those older buildings that has seen a lot of people come and go over the years. Being on the third floor means we get a bit of a climb or a wait for the lift, but it’s okay once you’re inside. We deal with career stuff, mostly helping people figure out what they want to do with their lives. It’s not just about jobs, but more about the direction people are heading. The office is usually cluttered with folders and printouts of different courses and job markets. Mumbai is a fast place, and everyone seems to be in a hurry to get somewhere. We try to slow things down a bit here. We talk to students and people looking to change their path. It’s a lot of conversation and looking at skills. We don't have a shiny lobby or a receptionist in a suit. It’s just a practical space where we work. Sometimes the street noise from below is quite loud, especially during rush hour, but we’ve gotten used to it. We drink a lot of tea while going through resumes and aptitude results. It’s a small team here, just a few of us who know how the city works. We just try to give honest feedback to anyone who walks through the door.
