Our place is Shop No 5 in the Shiv Chaya Apartment building, which you’ll find in Andheri East. We are right opposite the Central Bank of India, so that’s the easiest way to find us if you’re coming from the main road. The shop is mostly filled with computers, cables, and various bits of hardware we use for our data work. It’s not the most organized-looking place in the world, as there’s always something being taken apart or put back together on the workbenches. We’ve been here in Shiv Chaya for quite a while now. Being across from the bank means there’s a lot of foot traffic throughout the day, which keeps things interesting. We mostly spend our time staring at code or trying to recover files that someone thought were gone for good. It’s quiet work, but it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. We don't really do much advertising; most people just know we’re here or they find us when they’re going to the bank. The office gets a bit warm in the afternoons when all the machines are running, but we have a couple of fans that do the trick. We aren't a big corporation with departments; it’s just a few of us who know how systems work and like fixing things. If the door is open, we’re usually inside working on a hard drive or checking some data logs for a client who needs help.
