Prremia-Gifts & Ideas

Our shop, Prremia-Gifts & Ideas, is over in the B J Industrial Estate, unit number 29. We are in the Kachapada area of Malad West, right across from the Khwaishh Residency. Being in an industrial estate means we have a lot of space for our stock, but it’s not exactly a high-street shopping area. It’s more of a warehouse feel where we keep all the gifts and ideas we’ve put together. We spend most of our time organizing shipments and looking through new products. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road, but people find us eventually. We have things for corporate gifting, but also for individuals who want something a bit different. The estate can get busy with trucks and deliveries during the day, so there’s always a lot of noise. Inside, we just try to keep things moving. We don’t have a big marketing budget, so we rely on people knowing where we are and coming back when they need something. It’s just a group of us working here, handling the orders and making sure everything is packed correctly. Sometimes the rain makes it a bit tricky to get things out, but we manage. We aren't trying to be the most famous gift shop in Mumbai. We just want to provide decent items at a fair price. It’s practical work, and we enjoy the routine of it, even if the building is a bit old and the stairs are steep.
