Our office is up on the second floor of Haroon House, which is located at 294 in the Fort area, specifically near Azad Nagar in Dharavi. We are right across from the RBI Amar Building, so the surroundings are quite grand compared to our modest workspace. It’s a bit of a walk up the stairs since the building is old, but once you’re here, it’s a quiet place to get things done. We work on software and various computer-related tasks. It isn't a high-tech lab with glass walls or anything; it’s just a room with desks, some tangled wires, and a few good computers that we keep running. We spend most of our day staring at screens and trying to figure out why things aren't working the way they should. There are three of us usually, and we share the space with a lot of books and old manuals stacked on the floor. Sometimes the tea man comes by, which is usually the highlight of our afternoon break. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to provide decent solutions for people who come to us with technical problems. The building has a lot of character, even if the elevator is sometimes out of order when we need it most. We like the location because it’s central, and we can find almost anything we need nearby. It’s a practical spot for the kind of work we do, and we’ve grown to like the quirks of the place.
