Pride World Trade

Pride World Trade is basically just us working out of the 701 1C unit over at the Kandivali East GIDC in Gandhinagar. It’s a bit of a trek to get here some mornings if you aren't living nearby. The area is mostly industrial, as you can probably tell from the GIDC tag. We spend most of our time dealing with trade documents and checking on shipments. It’s not the most exciting work in the world but it keeps us busy from nine to six. The office itself is pretty standard, nothing fancy to look at, just desks and a lot of files piled up. Sometimes the elevators in the building act up, which is a bit of a pain when you’re in a hurry. We’ve been in this spot for a while now. You get used to the noise of the trucks and the general hum of the industrial estate. Most of the people around here are doing similar things, just trying to get through their daily tasks. We take our tea breaks at the little stall down the road when the weather isn’t too hot. It’s a decent place to work if you don't mind the commute and the constant paperwork. We don't really do much besides the core trade stuff. It’s straightforward, really. We just show up, do the work that needs doing for the day, and head home. That’s pretty much how it goes here every week in this building. It works for us.
