We are located at C 603 in the Om Shirsti building. It is right on Dumping Road in Mulund West. Even though the road has a bit of a funny name, the area is actually quite alright once you get used to the pace of things. The office is up on the sixth floor so we get a decent view of the surroundings. We spend a lot of time looking at spreadsheets and making sure all the numbers add up. It is mostly quiet work. The building itself is usually busy with other small businesses and families. We share the floor with a few other offices. Sometimes we run into the neighbors in the hallway and just nod hello. We don't have a big receptionist or a waiting lounge. If you come in, you just see us at our desks. There’s always a smell of fresh tea around eleven because that’s when the boy from the local stall brings the tray up. We keep a lot of physical folders because some things are just easier to track that way. The desks are a bit cluttered with pens and notebooks and half-empty water bottles. It’s a very normal office life. Mulund 400 080 is a good spot because it’s connected well enough to the rest of Mumbai. We mostly just keep our heads down and finish what needs finishing before the day ends. It’s honest work and we stay busy. The elevator takes a while during lunch so we usually just wait it out.
