Down here at 1 A Kanchan Bag in Indore, we run a pretty tight ship without needing all the bells and whistles. The office is in a good spot, easy to find if you know the Kanchan Bag area. It’s an older building, so it has some character, maybe a few cracks in the walls here and there, but it’s sturdy. We have a small team of people who have been working together for years. We know each other's habits and how we like our tea. The atmosphere is generally calm, though things pick up quite a bit when tax season rolls around. We spend a lot of time on the phones and going through stacks of papers that seem to never end. Indore is a great city, and we like being part of the business community here. We don't go in for big presentations or fancy marketing talk. We just tell people how it is and help them with their financial stuff. Usually, there is some poha being shared in the morning, which is the best way to start the workday. Our desks are usually covered in sticky notes and calculators. It might look a bit messy to an outsider, but we know exactly where everything is. We just focus on being reliable and getting the numbers right. It’s honest work, and we are happy to be doing it right here in the heart of the city.
