If you know Mumbai, you know how crowded it gets around Lower Parel. Our office is in 703 Wingb of the Managal Murthi Co-op Housing Society. It is right opposite the Zee News building on Delisle Road, which is now called NM Joshi Marg. It’s a very busy stretch of road. You can hear the trains and the constant honking of cars all day long. Getting to the seventh floor in the morning is always a bit of a wait for the lift. The office is small and every inch of space is used for something, mostly storage for old files and ledgers. We have been here for a long time. The society is older, so it has that classic Mumbai feel to it. We don't have fancy interiors or modern lounge areas. It’s just rows of tables and people working hard on their monitors. During the monsoon, the commute becomes a real challenge, but we always make it in. We take our tea breaks downstairs at the local stall because it’s better than what we make in the office. It is a very practical place. We do our audit work and tax consulting without any big corporate speeches. We know the local shops and the shortcuts to the station. It’s just how things are done here in Mumbai 13. We keep our heads down and get the job done for our clients every single day.
