Premier Transport Ltd has its home base at Plot No 30 C 7 in Baiganwadi. If you know the Govandi area in Mumbai, you know it can get pretty packed around here. We’ve been in this spot for a good while, handling the trucks and the logistics that come with the transport business. It’s a dusty place sometimes, what with all the vehicles moving around the 400043 area. We don’t have a fancy lobby or anything like that. It’s mostly just a yard and a small office where we keep the keys and the manifests. Running a transport company in Mumbai is a lot of work, and there’s always something that needs fixing or a driver who needs directions. We just take it one day at a time. The neighbors in Baiganwadi are mostly used to the sound of our engines by now. It’s a tough business, but it’s what we know how to do. We don’t try to be anything we’re not. It’s just about getting the goods from one place to another without too much trouble. Sometimes the rain in Mumbai makes things difficult, but we push through it. It’s just us here, a small team trying to keep the wheels turning. There isn't much to it besides hard work and staying organized enough to keep track of everything. We spend a lot of time on our phones and dealing with the local traffic issues, but that's just life in the city.
