We work out of Shirin Manzil on Dattaram Lad Marg in the Kalachowki area of Mumbai. Our office is at 98/4, and it’s a typical Mumbai setup where space is tight but we make it work. Communications is the name of the game here. We spend a lot of time on computers, writing things, and sending out messages. The building has that old Mumbai charm, though the stairs can be a bit of a climb. It’s always noisy outside with the city sounds, which we’ve just learned to tune out. We have a small team, and we all know each other’s business. There isn't much room for secrets in an office this size. We don't have any of those modern office perks like bean bags or espresso machines. We just have our desks, some old files, and a lot of work to get through. Most days involve a lot of back-and-forth emails and phone calls. We try to stay organized, but sometimes the paperwork gets the better of us. Working in Kalachowki feels very connected to the heart of the city. We are just regular people trying to run a business and keep things moving. It’s not glamorous, but it’s our daily life and we are okay with it. We’ve been in this building for years and the walls could probably tell some stories if they could talk. We just keep at it and make sure the jobs get finished.
