Pratik Corporation

Down here at Ansa Industrial Estate, things are always moving. Our unit is A 119, right off Saki Vihar Road in Andheri East. It’s an old industrial area, so there is always the sound of trucks backing up or someone moving crates nearby. Pratik Corporation has been tucked away in this corner for a while. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re usually too busy to worry about that. Most mornings start with the heavy traffic on Saki Vihar Road, which is enough to make anyone a bit grumpy, but once you get inside the estate, it’s just about getting the job done. We’ve got a small team and we know everyone’s name. The air in Andheri East gets pretty thick in the summer, so we keep the fans going all day long. Sometimes we grab lunch from the stall just outside the main gate because it's quick. Being in an industrial estate means we don't get many random walk-ins, just people who actually have business with us. We have enough space for our gear and a couple of desks that are usually buried under paperwork. It's not the kind of place you see in a magazine, but it works for us and our neighbors don't complain much. We’ve grown used to the rhythm of the estate and the way the light hits the dusty windows in the late afternoon.
