Being up in Shop 501 in the B Wing of Suparshwa Apartments is a bit different than being on the ground floor. We are tucked away on Moledina Road. Lower Parel is always noisy outside, but up here it’s a little quieter. We spend our mornings checking the stock and getting the desks organized. It’s not a huge office at all. There are files stacked everywhere and the computer takes a minute to start up in the morning. We get people coming in for all sorts of things throughout the day. Sometimes the lift in the building is slow or broken, so we end up waiting for people a lot. We just sit and drink some tea while we wait for the next person to knock on the door. The view from the window is mostly other buildings and some construction sites. We’ve decorated the walls with a few old calendars and photos of our families. It feels like home because we spend so much time here. The air conditioning is a bit loud, but it keeps us cool when the sun hits the glass in the late afternoon. We try to keep things orderly, but with so much going on, it gets messy fast. We just handle things as they come. No big secrets here. Just a small team working out of a building in a busy part of town. We've been here long enough that we know the building staff by name.
