Pramod Trader

Pramod Trader is situated at Plot No-217 on Maulana Shaukat Ali Road. We are right opposite Anjuman Islam College, which means there are always students walking past our front door. It’s a very lively area of Mumbai Central, and there is never a quiet moment. Between the honking cars and the people shouting to be heard, it’s a lot to take in if you aren't from around here. Our shop is packed with all sorts of things we trade. Boxes are stacked up to the ceiling, and sometimes it feels like a bit of a maze just trying to get to the back. We do our best to keep things moving, but the traffic on Maulana Shaukat Ali Road can make loading and unloading a real headache. Sometimes the rain leaks in a bit near the front entrance when it pours, so we keep some plastic sheets handy. We aren't trying to be the biggest or the most famous place in Mumbai Central. We just focus on getting our daily tasks done and helping the customers who walk in. Most of the people we deal with have been coming to us for years. It’s a tight-knit community despite how busy the street is. We just open the shutters in the morning, do our work, and close up when the sun goes down. It’s a simple way to run a business. The noise from the college can be a lot, but you get used to the energy of the students passing by every single afternoon.
