Prakash Mehta

This is the place for Prakash Mehta, located inside Kala Mandir A 6 in Santacruz West. It's a bit of a tucked-away spot, but once you find it, it's pretty simple. We’ve been here in this part of Mumbai for quite a while. The building has its quirks, like the lights in the hallway sometimes flickering, but it's home to us. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist in a suit. You just walk in and see us working. Santacruz West is a nice area, a bit different from the East side. We like the vibe here. Most of our day is spent dealing with the usual stuff that comes across the desk. We don't make a big deal out of it. It’s just honest work. The space is filled with things we’ve gathered over the years—mostly files and some old equipment that still works fine. We don’t see a need to change things just for the sake of looking modern. If it’s not broken, we don’t fix it. That's how we run things. It’s a small operation, just a few of us making sure everything is taken care of. We know the neighbors and they know us. It feels like a community. We usually have the radio on low in the background while we sort through the paperwork. It’s a comfortable enough spot to spend the day.
