Our office is over at 6, Feltham House. It's an old building in Ballard Estate. You can feel the history of the area when you walk down J.N. Geredia Marg. It’s mostly about transformers here at Power & Control Transformer Industries (P) Ltd. The ceilings are high and the walls are thick. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at technical drawings on big tables. It gets quiet in the afternoons when everyone is busy. We’ve got old metal filing cabinets that squeak a bit. We don't have fancy furniture, just sturdy desks and chairs that have been here since the start. There’s a tea guy who comes by twice a day. Usually, there are stacks of papers and blueprints everywhere. We deal with a lot of heavy equipment specifications. It’s not the kind of place where people wear suits every day unless there's a specific reason. Most of us just wear what's comfortable for a long day of work. The neighborhood is full of other businesses too, so it always feels busy outside. We keep our doors open sometimes to catch a breeze, though the city noise comes in with it. It’s just how we operate. We do the work, keep the records straight, and go home when the sun goes down. It's a solid place to work and the team knows what needs doing without being told. We just keep things moving along at our own steady pace.
