Being so close to the station means we constantly hear the announcements and the sound of trains coming and going. It is a very practical location for what we do because people can hop off the train and reach us in just a couple of minutes. The office is small and mostly filled with ledgers and stacks of receipts. We handle octroi related paperwork and other local logistics tasks that require a lot of attention to detail. It is a simple setup with a few desks and some chairs for people who come in to settle their accounts. The apartment building is a mix of residential and small businesses, so there is always a lot of movement on the stairs. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that; you just walk in and talk to whoever is at the desk.
