Poona Serological Blood Bank

Our place is tucked away in the Pannalal Compound on Lbs Marg, right in the Bhandup Industrial Estate. It's unit G/30, which can be a little tricky to find the first time if you aren't familiar with the layout of the compound. At Poona Serological Blood Bank, we keep a pretty strict routine because of the nature of what we do. The floors are always kept clean, and the refrigerators are constantly humming in the background. It is a bit of a contrast to the noisy factories and workshops that are right next door to us. We have a few staff members who have been here for a long time, and they know the regulars who come in. It’s not the kind of place where people hang out for fun, but it is an important part of the neighborhood in its own way. We spend a lot of time checking labels and making sure all the equipment is running exactly how it should. There is always a lot of coming and going with deliveries and people dropping things off. The traffic on Lbs Marg can be a nightmare in the evenings, so we usually try to get our main work done early. We don't have any flashy signs or big advertisements. We just focus on the task at hand and keep our records organized in the files. It's a quiet environment compared to the rest of Bhandup West but we keep things moving.
