Our office is located at 202 in Poonam Chambers, which is right across from the Atria Mall in the Worli area. It is a very busy part of the city and there is always something going on outside on the main road. We work on various infrastructure projects, so the office is often filled with big rolls of plans and stacks of technical documents. It is definitely not a place meant for showing off to visitors. We have standard desks, some old metal filing cabinets, and a lot of half-empty coffee mugs scattered around. People are usually coming and going throughout the day, either heading out to project sites or coming back for internal meetings. We have been in this building for a while now and the view of the constant traffic below is something we have grown used to seeing. It is a serious environment because the kind of work we do involves a lot of small details that simply cannot be messed up. We do not spend our money on fancy rugs or expensive designer furniture for the lobby. We would much rather focus our time on making sure the numbers and the engineering plans are exactly right. Sometimes we have to stay quite late when a project is at a critical stage. It is just the nature of the industry we are in. Worli is a central spot which makes it much easier for us to coordinate things across the whole city.
