Pooja Vadake

I'm Pooja Vadake and I am located in Pavitra CHS, which is right on S.V. Road in Mumbai. If you know Mumbai, you know how busy S.V. Road can get at almost any hour of the day. My unit is C/11, and it’s a typical society apartment where I’ve set up my workspace. It’s not a large area, but it fits everything I need to get through the day. The sound of the traffic is pretty constant, but after a while, you just stop noticing it. I don’t have a big team or a fancy office setup with a coffee machine. It’s mostly just me and my laptop, sitting at the table and getting things done. Living and working in a housing society means you’re always bumping into neighbors in the elevator or the lobby. It keeps things grounded. Sometimes the power goes out for maintenance or there’s some repair work happening in the building, and you just have to work around it. I don’t believe in making things sound more important than they are. This is just a local spot where I do my business. It’s convenient because the station isn't too far and everything you need is right downstairs. It’s a very typical Mumbai lifestyle, busy and a bit cramped but we make it work every single day without complaining too much about the heat or the noise.
