Pooja Octoi Service

Our spot is tucked away in the Tare Compound area of Dahisar. It’s near the check naka, specifically in the Begampura part. If you’re hungry and see the Shree Krishna Hotel, just head behind it and you’ll find where we operate Pooja Octoi Service. Dealing with octroi and paperwork isn't the most exciting thing, but it's what we do. We’ve been here for a good bit of time now. The office isn't anything special to look at. It’s got a few desks, some old filing cabinets, and a lot of papers everywhere. Dahisar can be quite noisy with all the trucks passing through the check post, but we are used to the sound by now. We mostly help people sort out their tax stuff and entry documents so they don't get stuck at the border. It's practical work. We don't use fancy computers for everything; sometimes the old ways still work fine. People come in, ask their questions, and we try to give them a straight answer without a lot of fuss. It gets pretty warm in the afternoons, but the fan keeps things moving. We aren't trying to be the biggest company around. We just want to make sure the work gets handled properly for the folks in the compound. It’s a simple setup for a necessary job. We stay busy during the peak hours when the transport is heavy and the queues are long. Most of the day is just dealing with different drivers.
