Polymech Components

You can find Polymech Components at 4 & 5, Lokmanya Tilak Nagar. We are tucked away off 90' Road, close to Sakinaka in Andheri East. This area is mostly industrial, so there are a lot of trucks and noise all day long. We make various plastic and mechanical components here. The workshop is full of heavy machinery and the smell of oil and grease. It’s a loud place to work, but we are used to the clanking sounds. We have benches set up where we check the parts after they come off the machines. My brother and I started this years ago, and we have stayed in the same spot ever since. The walls are stained with oil, and we have shelves full of metal molds and tools. It’s not the cleanest environment, but that’s the nature of manufacturing. We spend a lot of time talking to suppliers and trying to get materials delivered on time despite the heavy traffic in Andheri. Sometimes the rain makes the road outside very muddy, so we have to be careful with the shipments. We don't have a big corporate structure or any suits here. We just have a few workers who have been with us for a long time. We take our breaks together and talk about the news or the weather. It is just a regular factory job for all of us.
