Polaris Software Lab Ltd.

Polaris Software Lab Ltd. is located in the SEEPZ area of Andheri East, specifically in Unit 133 of the SDF V building. If you have ever been to SEEPZ, you know it is a huge maze of buildings and security gates. Our unit is a typical office space where we spend most of our time writing code and managing software projects. It is not the kind of place with a lot of decorations or fancy furniture. We have rows of desks with computers and some old filing cabinets in the corners. The atmosphere is pretty quiet most of the time, except for the hum of the air conditioning and the occasional meeting. Since we are in an export zone, there are always a lot of rules to follow just to get into the building. We usually eat lunch at the local canteen or bring something from home. The commute to Andheri can be a real struggle with the Mumbai traffic and the trains, so most of us are pretty tired by the time we get to our desks. We just focus on the technical requirements of the software we are building. It is a lot of logical thinking and sitting in front of screens for hours at a time. Sometimes the internet goes a bit wonky or the power flickers, but we just deal with it and keep going. It is a steady, predictable kind of work life. We aren't trying to change the world; we are just making sure the software works the way it is supposed to.
