Piyush Chheda Associates

Piyush Chheda Associates is based out of a flat in Byculla. We are in Flat No 34 35 at Hanuman Prasad. Using a residential building as an office gives the place a different feel than a typical commercial building. It’s a bit more quiet, though you still hear the sounds of the city and the other residents going about their lives. We’ve been here for quite some time now. The rooms are filled with steel cupboards and desks piled high with folders. We don't have any of those modern open-plan layouts. It’s just a series of rooms where we sit and do our work. Sometimes it feels a bit tight when everyone is in at the same time, but we make it work. The kitchen area is mostly used for making tea and storing tiffins. We don't have a big sign on the building, just a small nameplate. Most of the people who come here already know the way. It’s a functional space where we handle all our associate work. There’s no fluff or fancy furniture here. We use what we have and focus on getting the daily tasks done. It’s a bit old-fashioned, maybe, but it suits us and the way we like to operate. Byculla has been our home for a while, and we like being part of this old neighborhood where things don't change too fast. It's just how we run the place every day.
