Pioneer Healthcare Products

Pioneer Healthcare Products is based at 24, T.H. Indl. Est., which is right opposite the Dahisar Checkpost in the Post Mira area. Being near the checkpost means there is always a lot of traffic and activity outside. It’s a busy industrial estate with many different types of companies as neighbors. We focus on healthcare items, which means we have to keep our space a bit more organized than some of the other workshops around here. The building is a standard industrial unit with a high ceiling. We’ve got shelves stacked high with various products. It’s not a glamorous place to work, but it’s functional. The noise from the main road is constant, but you stop noticing it after a while. Our staff is mostly local people from the surrounding neighborhoods. We spend our time packing boxes and making sure the inventory counts are right before the trucks take them away. Sometimes the checkpost traffic makes it a headache for our suppliers to get to us on time, but that’s just part of being in this location. We don’t do any big promotions or anything like that. We just provide the products that hospitals and clinics need. It’s been our home for a long time, and we’ve grown used to the pace of life here near the border of the city. We keep a small office in the front to handle the billing and the phone calls. It's just a regular workplace doing its part.
