We've been at Thakur Cottage in Anand Nagar for a good while now. It's a busy spot right on Sion Trombay Road in Chembur. The office isn't anything fancy, just a practical space where we handle all the engineering and construction planning. Mostly, we spend our days looking at blueprints and talking to guys on the job sites. Mumbai is a crowded place, and being based here means we're usually stuck in traffic or dealing with the noise from the main road, but it works for us. We do the heavy lifting when it comes to infrastructure projects. People come in and out, usually wearing boots and carrying gear. It gets a bit messy with all the paperwork piled up on the desks. We don't really do the whole fancy corporate lobby thing. If you find your way to the cottage, you'll probably see a few of us drinking tea and arguing about project timelines. It's a local setup. We've seen Chembur change quite a bit over the years from this little corner. The construction business is tough and the hours are long, so we just focus on getting the work done without much fuss. We've got a small team here, some have been with us for years. It's just a regular workplace where things get built. We try to keep things simple and honest. If the rain is heavy, the roof sometimes makes a lot of noise, but that's just part of being in an old building like this one. We keep the kettle going all day because someone always wants a hot drink while they check their emails. It's not a place for suits. We just wear what's comfortable and get to it.
