Pelican Consultants

You can find Pelican Consultants over at B 204 on Dahisar East Road Number 5. It’s a straightforward location in Mumbai, though the traffic on Road Number 5 can be a bit much during the evenings. The office is on the second floor of the B wing. We’ve been here for a while and most of the locals know where the building is. Inside, it’s a pretty standard setup. We have a few desks, some filing cabinets that are getting a bit full, and a couple of chairs for visitors. We don't really do the whole corporate image thing. The walls have a few old calendars on them and the carpet is starting to show some wear and tear near the entrance. It’s a place where work actually happens, so it’s not always perfectly tidy. We like being in Dahisar because it’s a bit away from the main chaos of south Mumbai, but still has everything we need. The building has a lift, but it’s quite slow, so most of us just take the stairs to the second floor. We usually have the radio playing softly in the background while we work. It’s just a handful of us here, and we know each other’s habits pretty well by now. We don't have a big mission statement on the wall or anything. We just show up every morning and handle the consulting work that comes our way. It’s just a practical and honest way to spend our days.
