Pearl Polymers Ltd. is tucked away in Mahim on Mogul Lane. We are on the second floor of Kamanwala Chambers, which is part of the New Udyog Mandir Premises No. 2. It’s a bit of a mouthful of an address, but once you’ve been here a few times, it’s easy to find. The building has that old Mumbai industrial feel to it. The hallways are long and the paint is peeling in a few spots. We’ve been operating out of this space for quite a while. During the monsoon, you can hear the rain hitting the roof really loudly, which can be relaxing or distracting depending on how much work we have. We do a lot of our planning and administrative stuff here. It’s not a showroom, so don’t expect anything shiny. Just desks, computers, and a lot of files. The area around Mogul Lane is always bustling with activity. There are small workshops and printers all around us. We usually grab lunch from the local stalls nearby; the food is decent and cheap. Our team is a mix of people who have lived in Mahim their whole lives and some who commute from quite far away. It’s a tight-knit group. We don’t really do much marketing or anything like that. We just stay here in Kamanwala Chambers and make sure our orders are moving along like they should. It is just our daily routine.
