Peacock Plumes Production

Bandra West is where we set up Peacock Plumes Production. Specifically, we’re over at House No 23 C in Cosy Home. It’s a bit of a maze finding the place if you aren’t used to the lanes here, but it has a good feel to it. We do production work, which mostly means a lot of phone calls, sitting in front of screens, and trying to organize people who are always running late. The office itself is a bit cluttered with props and old gear we haven’t figured out where to store yet. Sometimes it gets a little loud when we’re in the middle of a project, but that’s just how this business goes. We aren't some massive studio with shiny floors. We’re more of a hands-on group. We drink a lot of tea and spend a lot of time talking through ideas until they make some kind of sense. It’s not always glamorous like people think production is. There’s a lot of waiting around and fixing things that broke at the last minute. Being in Bandra helps because everything we need is usually just a short walk or a quick rickshaw ride away. We’ve got a few rooms here that serve as our main base. It’s a bit cramped when the whole crew is in, but we make it work. We’ve been here for a while and don't plan on moving anytime soon. There is always something going on at 251 Pa.
