We are based in the 400072 area of Mumbai, which is always a bit of a chaotic place. There are constant sounds of traffic and people shouting from the street below. Our office is a functional space, mostly filled with computer towers, monitors, and various spare parts. It’s definitely not a place for showing off. We spend our days troubleshooting problems and putting things back together. The floor is usually crisscrossed with cables and there are boxes stacked in the corners. People bring in their equipment when it stops working, and we do what we can to get it running again. It gets really humid in this part of the city, so we always have the fans going as fast as they can. Our small team doesn't bother with fancy clothes. We usually wear old t-shirts because you tend to get a bit dusty when you're opening up old machines. For lunch, we just grab something from the local Vada Pav stall or a nearby dhaba and eat while we work. We know all the back alleys to avoid the worst traffic jams when we have to go out for a site visit. It’s a busy environment because people are always in a rush to get their tech fixed. We don't have any glossy brochures. We just rely on our tools and what we know. It’s a decent, honest way to make a living in a city that never stops. The building is plain, but we get it done.
