Pawar Toy Mart

You can find Pawar Toy Mart right across from the Apsara showroom in Vile Parle East. We are at number 2 on the ground floor. The shop is pretty much packed from floor to ceiling with toys and games. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes because we try to fit as much as we can into the small space we have. There’s always a bell that rings when someone opens the door, and usually, it’s a kid dragging their parent inside. We spend a lot of time reaching for things on the top shelves using a small ladder. It gets a bit messy with open boxes and packing tape lying around, especially when we get a new shipment in. Vile Parle East is a nice neighborhood, and we see a lot of the same faces every week. The sidewalk outside is often crowded, so people are always bumping into the display we put out front. We don't have any corporate rules or anything; we just run the place how we like. Sometimes we stay open a bit late if people are still browsing. It’s a noisy, colorful place to work, and there’s always something to do, whether it’s dusting off the old board games or putting batteries into a toy to show how it works. It’s just a regular local toy shop doing its thing.
