Patni Computer

Our little shop for Patni Computer is located at number 7, Jagdale Chawl, in the Shastrinagar area. It sits right on B. R. Road in Mulund West. It’s a pretty small space, which is typical of the chawls you see around this part of Mumbai. We’ve got computers and monitors piled up everywhere you look. It’s where we do all our repair work and set up new systems for people. You won't find any fancy carpets or big glass walls in here. It’s just a simple concrete floor and some sturdy wooden benches where we keep the monitors lined up. The neighborhood is always very lively, and we often have neighbors just dropping by to say hello or ask a quick question while we’re busy working. We don't have a big marketing budget or a team of sales people. We just rely on the fact that we’ve been here in Mulund for many years and people know we’re around when they need help. If a laptop starts acting up, someone usually brings it over, and we take a good look at it. We might be sitting there drinking tea while we work, but we always make sure to get the job done right. Sometimes a repair takes a little bit longer if we have to wait for a specific part to come in from the local market, but we always let the person know what’s happening. We don't like to make big promises we can't actually keep. It's a simple and honest way to live.
