Patel'S Collection

Our place, Patel'S Collection, is tucked away at 6 Jagatram Tiwari Chawl. It’s right off Sola Road in Borivali East. If you’ve ever lived in a chawl, you know how it is. Everybody knows everyone else’s business, and there’s always someone talking outside the door. We’ve been operating out of this small space for a good bit now. It’s not a big showroom or anything like that. Just a couple of rooms where we keep everything organized the best we can. The walk from the main road isn't too long, but it can get muddy when the monsoon hits Borivali. We usually have the door open to catch a bit of a breeze because it gets stuffy inside with all the stock. My family helps out with the daily chores, and we just try to stay on top of things. It’s a humble spot, nothing to brag about, but it’s ours. We see the same faces every day walking past to the station or the market. Sola Road is always moving, but our corner at Jagatram Tiwari Chawl stays pretty much the same. We don’t have a website or fancy ads. We just open the shop, do our work, and talk to whoever stops by. It’s a bit cramped when we get a big delivery, but we manage to find a spot for everything eventually. That's just how life is for us here.
