Patel Harilal Khimji

We are over in Malad East, at shop number 3 in the Jai Ambey Heet Ward. It is a small shop, but we make the most of the space we have. The area is always bustling with people, especially during the market hours. We have been here for a good while, and most of the locals know our faces by now. It is a bit of a tight squeeze inside when we have a few customers at once, but we manage. My family helps out with the daily chores of running the shop. We don't have a big marketing plan or anything like that. We just open up in the morning, sweep the front, and wait for the first person to come in. It is honest work and it keeps us connected to the neighborhood. Malad can be a loud place, but inside the shop, we just focus on what the customer needs. We don't try to sell people things they don't want. It is more about just being there and having what they are looking for on the shelves. Sometimes the stock takes a while to arrive, but we do our best. It’s just a simple life in a busy part of town. We are happy to be part of the Jai Ambey building community. We might not have everything, but we have enough to keep the shop going and keep our regular customers happy.
