Parle Book Centre

We are located at 22 Seva Sadan in Vile Parle West. It’s a pretty easy spot to find because we are right near that McDonald's restaurant everyone knows. Being on this side of the tracks in Vile Parle, there’s always something going on. Parle Book Centre has been here for a bit, tucked into this corner of Seva Sadan. It’s a small space, really, filled with whatever we’ve managed to stock on the shelves over time. We aren't trying to be one of those giant stores you see in the malls. This is just a local place where we keep the books and handle the daily walk-ins. The street outside can get a bit hectic, especially with people heading to the station or grabbing a quick meal next door. We see a lot of students and folks from the neighborhood stopping by. The building itself, number 22, has that older Vile Parle character to it. It’s not polished or new, but it’s sturdy. We spend a lot of time organizing things and just chatting with the people who drift in. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty with all the paper around, but that’s part of the charm of a book centre. We don't have any big mission, we just open up the doors every morning and see who needs what. It’s a simple way to spend the day in a neighborhood that we’ve grown very used to.
