Pappu Auto Care

Pappu Auto Care is over in Malad West, right at BMC Colony, Gate No 1. We are situated directly opposite the Malwani Fire Brigade, so we’re easy to spot. The garage is usually filled with cars that need some kind of attention. Some have engines that aren't starting, others just need the brakes looked at or an oil change. Our hands are almost always greasy, and there is a lot of noise from tools and engines throughout the day. We don't have a fancy waiting area with air conditioning. Most people just drop their cars off and come back later when we tell them it's ready. I have lived and worked in this part of Malad for a long time, so I know a lot of the regulars who come by. We work on all kinds of vehicles, from old models to the newer ones. Sometimes it’s hard to find a specific part and we have to wait for the suppliers, but we just tell the owners the truth about how long it will take. It’s a local mechanic shop where we do what we can to keep people's cars on the road. We don't do any big advertising. People find out about us from their neighbors or friends. It’s a straightforward life and we like the work of fixing things with our hands.
