Pankaj Naik

Pankaj Naik is based out of Kamani in Kurla, specifically Room 14. If you know Kurla, you know it’s always moving and always loud. This little room is where all the business happens. It’s not a large area, just enough space for a desk and some chairs and the stuff we need to work. We don't have a big sign outside or anything flashy. Most people find us because they know the area or they’ve heard about us from someone else nearby. Being in Maharashtra, especially a place like Kurla, you get used to the pace. It’s fast and sometimes a bit chaotic, but we like it that way. The room itself is basic. We haven't spent much on furniture or making it look corporate because that’s not what we’re about. We just want to finish the work on time and go home. Every day starts early to beat the worst of the heat. The neighbors in the building are mostly other small setups, so everyone kind of knows each other. We drink a lot of tea and stay focused on the papers in front of us. It’s a very local way of doing things. No one wears a suit here. We just wear what’s comfortable and get the job done. It’s been this way for a while now, and we don't see any reason to change it into something it's not.
