Our place is located at 7/8, Mandakini on B.R. Road, right in the Model Town area of Mulund (West). It’s a nice enough neighborhood, mostly quiet except for the usual street noises. At Pankaj Industrial Agency Ltd., the day starts with opening up the heavy doors and letting some air in. We deal with industrial parts and agencies, so there are always catalogues lying around on the desks. We have some old wooden cabinets where we keep all the files. Everything is organized in a way that makes sense to us, even if it looks a bit messy to someone else. There’s a small desk near the front where we take calls. We have a lot of regular people who come in just to ask questions or check on things. We don't have a receptionist; whoever is closest to the door usually says hello. The back room is where we keep the samples and some of the smaller stock. It’s a bit cramped back there but we make it work. We’ve had the same calendar on the wall for years, just flipping the pages. It’s the kind of place where we know the names of the delivery drivers and the guy who delivers the mail. We just go about our business, handling the industrial side of things without any complicated systems or fancy technology. We keep it simple and just show up for work.
