Padmavati Exports

Our place, Padmavati Exports, is located over at Opera House, Po 40. It’s an old part of town, and you can feel it in the walls of the building. The hallways are narrow and the elevators are usually cranky, so we end up taking the stairs a lot. It’s a very busy area, full of people rushing around and shouting over the traffic noise. Inside our office, it’s a bit quieter, but not by much. We’ve got desks covered in ledgers and samples, and there’s always a kettle going for tea. We’ve been at this for a long time, so we don’t really feel the need to change how we do things. We don't use much fancy technology, just the basics that get the job done. Most of our day is spent talking on the phone or checking through the inventory we have stored in the back. It’s a tight space, but we’ve managed to make it work for us over the years. We know the other business owners in the Opera House area, and we often help each other out when someone needs a hand or a spare part. It’s a community of sorts, even if it looks a bit worn down from the outside. We don’t have any big marketing plans or glossy photos. We just come in, do our work at Po 40, and head home when the lights in the street start coming on. It’s a busy life, but it’s ours.
