You can find us in the Shanti Industrial Estate in Daulat Nagar. We are up on the fourth floor, room B 404, right on N Road. Being in an industrial estate means there is always a lot of noise from the nearby units and trucks moving around outside. Our office handles management services, which basically means we do a lot of the back-end work that other companies don't want to deal with. There are stacks of folders everywhere and usually a couple of us are typing away at keyboards all day. We deal with staff records, payroll, and all that kind of administrative stuff. It’s not the most exciting work, but it is necessary for keeping things running. We don't have a reception desk with a fancy sign. It is just a functional office where people come to get their paperwork sorted. Sometimes the lift in the building doesn't work, so we have to walk up the four flights of stairs. It’s a bit of a workout. We get a lot of people from the other units in the estate coming in to ask questions or drop off forms. It’s a busy, cramped space but we know where everything is. We just focus on getting the records updated and making sure the numbers match up at the end of the month without too much trouble from the computer systems.
